Accountant

Job Description : Company: FF Enterprises (import & export trading) Location: Faisalabad, Pakistan On-site, Morning Shift Employment type: Full-Time Role overview: The Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting for an owner-operated import/export trading business, supporting finance, operations and logistics. Work closely with the owner and operations team in a hands-on, small-team environment. Key responsibilities: Day-to-day bookkeeping: record sales, purchases, receipts, payments; maintain ledgers and journals; reconcile bank statements. Prepare monthly/periodic reports: trial balance, profit & loss, balance sheet drafts, cash flow summaries and variance explanations. Accounts payable & receivable management: verify invoices, schedule payments, maintain aging schedules and follow up on collections. Handle export/import transaction accounting: record freight, CIF/FOB costs, customs duties, insurance and other trade-related charges; prepare supporting documentation for audits and tax filings. VAT/sales tax compliance: prepare and submit accurate sales tax/VAT returns and maintain supporting records. Basic payroll processing and statutory record keeping. Job Specification : Must-have: 3+ years accounting experience, preferably with import/export trading operations. Proven bookkeeping and accounting with computerized accounting software (Tallya). Practical knowledge of recording import/export related costs: freight, CIF/FOB terms, customs duties, insurance entries. Experience preparing trial balances, P&L and balance sheets, reconciliations and bank statement matching. Knowledge of Pakistan sales tax/VAT rules and filing procedures; ability to maintain supporting documentation. Accounts payable/receivable schedules, aging reports and collections follow-up. Competent with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations). Basic payroll processing and understanding of statutory deductions. Good communication for coordination with logistics providers, customs brokers and suppliers. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or equivalent; or 3+ years relevant accounting experience. Professional accounting certification (ACCA/ICMA/CAA) is a plus.
