IT Manager

Job Description : Company: Shahtaj Sugar Mills Limited Location: Mandi Bahauddin (corporate base in Lahore); work mode: on-site with required travel Employment type: Full-Time Shift: Morning Shift Role overview: Lead and optimize IT operations for manufacturing and renewable energy initiatives. Ensure reliable infrastructure, secure systems, and responsive support to production, administration and business teams. Report to senior management and collaborate with operations, engineering and finance to enable digital initiatives. Key responsibilities: Lead day-to-day IT operations: servers, networking, endpoints, backups and cloud services to ensure high availability across sites. Design, implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, access management, and incident response processes. Manage ERP, production monitoring tools and integrations with manufacturing systems; coordinate upgrades and vendor support. Oversee IT support team: assign tasks, set SLAs, monitor performance and ensure timely resolution of user issues. Develop and enforce IT policies, disaster recovery and business continuity plans aligned with regulatory and company standards. Plan technology roadmap, evaluate and procure hardware/software, manage vendors and IT budgeting. Support and secure SCADA, DCS, PLC, ICS and OT/IT interfaces. Job Specification : Experience: Minimum 5+ years managing IT operations in manufacturing, utilities or large enterprise environments. Technical: Hands-on with Windows/Linux servers. Virtualization: VMware or Hyper-V. Cloud services: AWS, Azure or equivalent. LAN/WAN design, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLAN segmentation. Security & OT: IAM, patch management, endpoint protection, incident response, vulnerability management. Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST and Industrial Cyber Security Standards. Support and secure SCADA, DCS, PLC, ICS, SAS; OT/IT interfaces. Applications & DR/BCP: ERP systems, SQL databases, integration middleware. Backup, disaster recovery and business continuity planning with testing experience. Management & Communication: Team leadership, SLA-driven support, vendor management, procurement and IT budgeting. Ability to present technical matters to non-technical stakeholders. Certifications (preferred): CCNA, MCSA, CISSP, cloud certifications, Cyber Security Certification.
